Guidance

Our goal in the WHS Guidance Department is to provide parents and students with the knowledge, skills and information needed to assist with career and college exploration. We are excited about the opportunity to share our experiences with the students, to educate them on their options, and to help them achieve the academic requirements to meet their goals. Graduation-Preparation-Success is our theme, and we look forward to helping Woodruff High School students develop comprehensive plans for their futures.

 

The guidance department will be open beginning at 7:30 each morning, at lunch and until 3:20 each afternoon. Students requiring guidance services in the morning should enter the building through the lobby after 7:30 and report directly to the guidance office. Counseling on an individual or small group basis is available to students. Guidance sessions with large groups will be conducted on various occasions throughout the school year.
